Staff Attendance

You and your colleagues can log attendance, including check-in and check-out times and locations, using the spynPRO app. You can also download monthly reports in Excel format, including total hours, days present, and Google Maps locations. 

Check IN/OUT on spynPRO

  1. On the Home Page, tap the CHECK IN button on the Staff Attendance card. 
  2. If location-tagging is enabled in settings, it will automatically detect device location and log it with the time. If you have setup geo-location fencing, it will allow check-in only if the staff is within the radius area of the center, as specified in settings. 
  3. After checking in, you’ll have the option to check out. 
  4. If you’re an admin, you can also see the number of staff members who have checked in. 

View other’s attendance

Only admins or staff with special permissions can view other employees’ attendance records. 

  1. On the Home Page, click the VIEW button in the Staff Attendance section above Quick Actions
  2. In the Staff Attendance section, under the All tab, you’ll see a list of all staff members along with their Check-In/Out details. 
  3. Click on a staff member’s name to see their attendance records and Map Location. 
  4. You can also see their Present/Absent count at the top.  
  5. You can change the month to view or download reports in Excel format, and a summary for the selected month will be shown as well. 

Mark other’s attendance

  1. On the Home Page, click the VIEW button in the Staff Attendance bar above Quick Actions. 
  2. In the Staff Attendance section, under the All tab, you’ll see a list of all staff members with their Check In/Out status
  3. If a staff member hasn’t checked in, “IN” will appear next to their name. If they haven’t checked out, “OUT” will be shown. 
  4. Click on either “IN” or “OUT” to go to the next page, where you can mark attendance for that staff member. 

5. Enter the Check In/Check Out time along with the appropriate Center details, then click ADD. 

Attendance is now marked successfully. If you wish to, you can always make changes. Just click on the selected staff member’s name to view their Attendance track.

Edit attendance

  1. On the Home Page, click the VIEW button in the Staff Attendance section above Quick Actions
  2. In the Staff Attendance section, under the All tab, you’ll see a list of all staff members along with their Check In/Out details. 
  3. Click on a staff member’s name to see their attendance records  
  4. Click on the ⋮ icon to select the ‘Edit‘ option.
