Late Fee

To ensure timely payments and streamline financial operations, a Late Fee System is available. This feature automatically applies a penalty to overdue payments, encouraging users to make payments on time and reducing manual follow-ups.

Set Up for the Late Fee

  1. Navigate to Settings
      Go to Settings > Payment
  2. Enable Late Fee
Turn on the “Enable Late Payment Fee” option.
  3. Set the Grace Period
🗓️ Enter the number of days after the due date during which no late fee will be charged.
Example: If you enter 1 day, the late fee will be applied from the 2nd day after the due date.
  4. Choose the Late Fee Structure
You can select from the following three options based on your business requirements:
    • Flat Fee:
A fixed fee is charged once after the grace period, regardless of how many days the payment is delayed.
Example: ₹50 flat charge after 1 day of non-payment.
    • Per Day Fee:
A daily charge is applied for each day the payment is delayed beyond the grace period.
You can also set a maximum cap to limit the total penalty.
Example: ₹20 per day, up to a maximum of ₹200.
    • Percentage (%) of Plan Amount:
A late fee calculated as a percentage of the subscription or pack amount.
Example: If 10% is entered and the plan amount is ₹500, a ₹50 late fee will be applied.
  5. 💾 Save Your Settings
Once configured, click Save to apply your late fee policy.
