Late Fee

You can set up a Late Fee to be added automatically when a client misses a payment deadline.

How It Works:

  • When a client doesn’t pay by the due date, the system will add a late fee to their invoice.
  • You decide how much to charge and when to start charging.

Settings You Can Configure:

  1. Late Fee Amount
    • Set a fixed amount (e.g., ₹100)
    • You can choose to charge a late fee for each day the payment is delayed — up to a maximum amount.
    • Or set a percentage of plan Amount (e.g., 5%)
  • The late fee is levied at night on the due date.
  • This means clients have until the end of the due date to make the payment and avoid the fee.
