📘 Add Class

Create classes based on various criteria such as timings, skill, level, center, age and more. This guide walks you through the steps to add a class, with tips to help you manage them efficiently.

AcademyPRO: How to add plans & classes
  1. Navigate to Classes
    From the 🏠 Home page, under Quick Actions, click the ➕ icon next to “Classes”
  2. Upload a Banner Image (Optional)
    On the New Class page, upload a banner image (recommended size: 1080px × 400px). A high-quality banner helps the class stand out on your spynCONNECT page.
  3. Create a Class Title
    Enter a short, clear and unique title, like “7am Beginners Yoga”. You may mention the criteria here for the benefit of your clients.
  4. Select a Skill
    Choose a skill from the dropdown. To add a new one, click + Add Skill. For ex., a dance academy may add skills like Zumba, Hip Hop etc.
  5. Assign a Level (Optional)
    Select a level such as Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. This helps ensure that only clients who match the selected level can join the class, 🔐 preventing others from booking sessions that may not suit their skill level.
  6. Choose Online or Offline
    • For classes you conduct online:
      Toggle the Online switch ON.
      Add the meeting link (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
      Enter instructions to join.
    • For classes you conduct offline:
      Keep the toggle OFF.
      Select a center from the dropdown.
      To add a new one, click + Add Center
  7. Set Client Limit
    Enter the maximum number of clients allowed. Do note that you can add clients above this limit from the PRO app. But, if you have enabled booking of your class online on the spyn CONNECT page or app, and the maximum number of clients has been reached, the class will be marked as “Full”. This ensures clients are informed in real-time and prevents overbooking.
  8. Set Class Visibility
    Choose Only Client to show the class only to your existing clients on the spyn CONNECT app.
    Choose Everyone to display it to all visitors on your spynCONNECT page.
    Useful if you have certain classes that are private and not available for all.
  9. Enable Reservations (Optional)
    Toggle Reservation ON if you want clients enrolled in this class to reserve their slot. Enter the number of slots available per session. Once the reservations reach this number, other clients will not be able to reserve slot for that session on the spyn CONNECT app.
    Useful for studios with limited slots like yoga or CrossFit.
  10. Add Class Information
    Describe the class: activities involved, material/kit needed, any prep instructions, etc. This information is visible on the CONNECT app to clients and visitors.
  11. Set Class Timings
    Click Add Class to proceed to timing setup. Enter the times for each day the class runs. Use the  copy icon to quickly duplicate timings across days.
  12. Assign Plans
    Finally, assign plans to the class. Clients can join a class by subscribing to a plan assigned to that class. 👉 For details, click here.

Tip – Use the Clone option available under the 3-dot icon on class listing page to duplicate a class that is similar.
